On Motion to Concur in the Senate Amendments

U.S. House, U.S. Constitution

A vote on accepting the changes the Senate made to a bill the House had passed. If the House agrees, both chambers have passed the same text.

A Yea meant:
Accept the Senate's changes.
A Nay meant:
Refuse them.

A bill must pass the House and the Senate in the same form before it is presented to the President (U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 7). When the Senate has amended a House bill, this vote decides whether the House accepts the Senate's version.
