Pursuant to Senate Rule 3-9(b) / Referred to Assignments
Illinois Senate, Senate Rules, 104th General Assembly
The Senate had not met for 31 days in a row, so everything still pending was automatically sent back to the Committee on Assignments. It says nothing about this bill in particular.
On the 31st consecutive day that the Senate has not convened, every legislative measure still pending before the Senate or its committees is automatically re-referred to the Committee on Assignments (Senate Rule 3-9(b)). Proposed constitutional amendments and appointment messages are excepted, as is anything the Committee on Assignments exempted in writing beforehand.
When the line names an amendment, it is that amendment that was re-referred.
