Approved for Consideration (Assignments)
Illinois Senate, Senate Rules, 104th General Assembly
The Senate Committee on Assignments cleared this amendment, motion or report for a vote on the Senate floor. Without that approval the Senate may not consider it.
Floor amendments, motions for final action and conference committee reports go to the Committee on Assignments when filed, and the Senate may not consider one until the Committee approves it (Senate Rule 3-8(b)).
The Committee may approve language that a committee has already reported favorably, technical or clarifying language, or language it judges to be an emergency, of substantial importance to the operation of government, or in the best interests of Illinois (Rule 3-8(b)).
